10:30 am:
exit long position (sold SPY @ $117.33), AND enter short position (bought SH @ $44.50).
This is where I post the signals generated by my stock market timing system. It's a short-term timing system. Signals usually occur within a few days of each other. Occasionally they occur a few hours apart. When a new signal occurs, I post it on this blog right away (during New York/Toronto stock exchange hours). Interested traders should check the blog frequently (optional: Subscribe to posts (free) ).
The system generates signals for both long positions and short positions, allowing profits to be made when the market goes up and also when it goes down.
There are 4 specific types of signals:
1) enter long position
2) exit long position
3) enter short position
4) exit short position
The signals apply to the overall US stock market, so there are many trading vehicles to choose from, such as ETFs (bull/bear/leveraged), bellwether stocks, options and futures. Here are some ETFs that can be traded using the signals:
NYSE/NASDAQ: SPY, DIA, QQQ, IWM, SH, DOG, PSQ, RWM, SSO, DDM, QLD, UWM, SDS, DXD, QID, TWM
TSX: XSP, HXS, CLU, ZUE, ZDJ, ZQQ, XQQ, QQC, XSU, HIU, HSU, HQU, HSD, HQD
Regardless of the chosen vehicle, remember that a good trader practises sound money management.
